Uddhaṃ, tiriyaṃ apācinaṃ,
yāvatā jagato gati
samavekkhitā va dhammānaṃ
khandhānaṃ udayabbayaṃ.
Above, across or back again,
wherever one goes in the world
let one carefully scrutinise
the rise and fall of compounded things.
