Hirīmatā ca dujjīvaṃ
niccaṃ sucigavesinā,
alīnenāppagabbhena,
suddhājīvena passatā.
Difficult is life for the modest one
who always seeks purity,
is detached and unassuming,
clean in life, and discerning.
