2nd Gnostic Mystery: The Coronation of Sophia: Sophia, The Holy Spirit, is crowned Queen of Pleroma, and seated next to the Father and the 'Son'.

3rd Gnostic Mystery: The Renunciation: The Lord restores honour and reverence the Lady at Her true place on the throne and vows to protect Her and the Kingdom.

4th Gnostic Mystery: The Bride Chamber: The Father and Son combine to form Sophia's counterpart, the Comforter, the King of Glory and they come together in Sacred Union.

5th Gnostic Mystery: The Descent of the New Jerusalem: The new Godhead complete, the Light of the Logos and God has been revealed to the world, the Demiurge and His consorts toppled and all of Earth now under the caring reign of the King of Light, the True God.

SOPHIA: The Creed of the Holy Spirit

I believe in the Blessed Sophia.
I believe that she is Our Heavenly Father's Beloved Daughter.
I believe our souls dwelled with them in the Beginning, in harmony and love.

Reflections: New Year's Eve -- Facing Future

When someone tells us our dreams and hopes are impossible, let this be the fuel to pull us forward, thrust us ahead into the realm of dreams realized and hopes fulfilled. Act on dreams and hopes. Gather a good circle of friends around us to encourage us and in turn let us encourage each other. We are all on this planet together. We are all in this thing called life.


Let's let 2012 be the year of being present and when we can give to others, do so.


Whether it be the gift of time, physical assistance, financial or however we are able, be there for as many people as possible, including yourself. If we all create circles, the circles will surely overlap. Let us find common ground and flourish!

Buddhism: Meaning of AUM and OM MANI PEME HUNG

What is Buddha? What is not Buddha?

Buddha is not he, nor she, nor it, but thus ....

Buddha originally meant awakened/enlightened one.

A Buddha is like a flower, just like all life itself. Molecules come together and forms a life form, but then this life form dies and returns to the dust of particles. What is left in the end? What was this essence that hold it together?

"There is no higher way of bridging mind and matter than the AUM, the Soundless Sound. Even if one cannot pronounce it aloud, one may reflect upon AUM. In this there is no West or East. There is not a single human being on earth who cannot engage in deep reflection upon the opening of the mouth, the holding of the breath and the closing of the mouth. To engage in this meditation is to begin to reflect upon the origin, the maintenance and the dissolution of the cosmos, upon the beginning of human life on earth in any incarnation, the continuance of that life, and the graceful ending of life at the solemn moment when death comes as a deliverer and friend. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, creation, preservation and destruction-regeneration, apply to the cosmos as they apply to man. OM MANI PADME HUM
(Sanskrit pronounced as OM MANI PEME HUNG)
meaning The Jewel in the Lotus
or
The Mantra of Compassion

This is the highest Mantra for mankind gifted to us by the thousand Buddhas out of their compassion
for all sentient beings.  It will protect us from all harm, sufferings, ill health, hell regions; it will purify us and free us from all our negative emotions of the Mind and speech.

This mantra saves us from the hell regions and hungry ghosts which we have to encounter during 
and after death.  Hence, it is beneficial and a most valuable savior not only during Life on Earth 
but also after Life, when we have to remain and pass through the six Hell regions in the Bardos.

Each syllable in this six syllable Mantra liberates us from one realm of suffering out of each of the six realms of suffering filled existence:

OM liberates and purifies us from the emotions of bliss and pride in the samsaric realm of the Gods.

MA liberates and purifies us from the emotions of jealousy and lust for entertainment in the samsaric realm of Demi-Gods.

NI liberates and purifies us from the emotions of passion and desire in the samsaric realm of Humans.

PAD liberates and purifies us from the emotions of stupidity and prejudice in the samsaric realm of animals.

ME liberates and purifies us from the emotions of poverty and possessiveness in the samsaric realm of hungry ghosts.

HUM liberates and purifies us from the emotions of agression and hatred in the samsaric realm of hell.

In this way by freeing our consciousness, our spirit energy from the neurotic attachments that our senses are bonded with through the cravings and aversions constantly taking place inside of us ... and in this way creating negative karmas that keep us bound to sufferings and also from creating samsara.

The mantra OM MANI PADME HUM purifies us at 3 levels - Mind, Speech and Body - and in this way liberates us from all our negative karmas.  Within a short time of meditating on this Mantra, you will experience the opening and development of your heart chakra and begin to feel highly kind and compassionate towards other sentient beings including animals, even the tiny helpless ones.

You will develop a magnetic aura around you that will draw other people towards you, attracting them like a magnet attracts iron filings.  Love will begin to flow in your Life.  Reciting this mantra for 21 minutes daily will energize and develop your Heart Chakra.

When the Heart and Mind become united, anything is possible.

This Mantra is popularly known as "The Jewel in the Lotus" or "The Diamond in the Lotus".

("Mani" means Diamond, a precious jewel, and "Padma" means Lotus flower which is the spiritual symbol of consciousness.)

The Jewel refers to the Mind or consciousness and the Lotus refers to the Heart that is the source of Love energy.

The meaning of OM MANI PADME HUM is "Om, salutations to the Jewel of consciousness (the Mind) which has reached the Heart's lotus."

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT MANTRAS 

Your outer world is governed by your inner world.  Divine Powers that are generated inside you now start making all positive events happen in your life in the outer world.

This inner world is nothing but your intent which actually you are expressing in the mantra.  Thus, I wish to make the most valuable statement about mantras.

If you don't understand the meaning of the mantra you are repeating and what you are saying to the cosmos from your spirit and subconscious mind -- if you are not visualizing this meaning of the mantra by feeling the meaning of the mantra deep within your soul, while saying the mantra -- then it is not going to benefit you much.

Quantum Huna

For Halau students, participation in a Planetary Unified Field/Crystalline Grid  group transmission event is intended to be your opportunity to practice QUANTUM HUNA.  Wanna know how to heal like a Hawaiian Shaman ... help us with this transmission and learn first-hand by doing.  Allow me to jog your memory ...

You recognize and accept that you are an energy being first. In our classes, when we perform the Hatsu Rei Ho, you are taken through a series of exercises to show you AND have you physically experience bringing down the Reiki energy and then transmitting it long distance as a group. The Group's healing intentions, as focused through the prayers we also recite, becomes a realization of the basic understanding of Huna: The Three Selves, 'Uhane/your higher genius, Aka cords, and Ha Breathing take on an entirely new meaning and understanding.

When one looks at Tesla's work in Energy and Harmonics, then the world begins to open up in wonderful and mysterious way. As one example, for a particular application, the Kahuna would gather a group of people and they would all start to chant the phrases that were prepared by the Kahuna. The result would be a "miracle" to the outside world and to some of the natives doing the chanting.

When the Hawaiian phrases were translated into English and chanted, they did not work. THE SOUNDS WERE DIFFERENT. THE HARMONY WAS DIFFERENT. THE HARMONIC ENERGY WAS DIFFERENT. The power was different. Today, Silva Mind Control also gathers a group close together and does what essentially the same ritual. The "chanting" is slow and very deliberate. No explanation is given. Yet, everyone experiences an increase in energy, focus, awareness and connection. They become bonded very dramatically by doing this process. This is Tesla's energy and harmonics at work.

The Kahuna did not tell or explain to the group that they were slowing down their brains while generating a special harmonic resonance of energy. And that they were going into a self trance, thereby allowing their 'Unihipili (lower self, the Kundalini, which is where you begin to generate/gather your Mana) to direct the message to 'Aumakua (the mind). He simply had the group chant for as long as it took for them to induce the group deep level of trance the Kahuna had chosen. There are accounts of the chanting lasting for many hours. You could look at this as forced hypnosis. Each manifestation had its own ritual or "exercise" which the Kahuna led. A given Kahuna may have only used certain rituals that were passed down to him for certain manifestations. Others may have developed new ones as the situation required. The former is most likely the case as there are no accounts of the Kahuna developing new rituals for all the problems brought by the white man, including disease, alcohol, etc.

This is an ancient Hawaiian manifestation technique which has been reworked to allow us to participate by incorporating our crystalline energies into Earth's planetary crystal grid. This is also how we are helping Mother Gaia ease into her Ascension with as little harm caused to humans living on her surface as possible. The primary ingredients require:

1. Focus - Focus on healing Mother Gaia and healing all the pain, hunger, anger, hate, war and fear in the world right now, and that intention is what will bind our energies us together.

2. Proper Thought Form - Seeing yourself holding a ball of Rose Quartz Pink light and sending it up into the skies, propelled by your healing intentions ... and visualizing others sitting by you sending the same Rose Quartz Pink-colored lights up into the sky ... are what we believe are proper thought forms.

3. Concentrated Harmonic Energy - Direct your Energy and Thought Form to the place and time of the transmission, as listed above. You can do the Energy generation "any time" and request it be directed to the proper place and time. That's perfectly effective as well!

Sing it in a sing-songy lullaby way (like a child would do while rocking her doll) with the words you breathe sounding like this:

RECIPE: Puerto Rican Pasteles

Before I let this recipe get away from me, I'm putting it here for easy reference later!  This is one of those recipes that families don't release to just anybody ... so enjoy learning how to make one of my favorite all-time foods:  Pasteles.

Elia Torres is a wonderful Five Star Chef. She is here, making her world famous Latin dish of Pasteles. She makes them really Giant. They taste heavenly. (Puerto Rican savory cakes in banana leaves)

Pasteles are Puerto Rican special occasion food. The whole family usually gets together assembly-line-style to make large numbers of these starchy, tamal-like cakes and get them ready for the boiling pot. No Boricuan Christmas is complete without pasteles.

Makes about 12-15 pasteles, enough for 6-8 people
Masa (dough)

Green bananas, peeled and chopped -- 5
Green plantain, peeled and chopped -- 1
Yautía (taro root), peeled and chopped -- 1 1/2 pounds
Russet potato, peeled and chopped -- 1
Salt -- to taste
Filling

Onion, chopped -- 1
Green pepper, seeded and chopped -- 1
Garlic, peeled and chopped -- 3-4 cloves
Oil -- 2-3 tablespoons
Pork butt or shoulder, cut into small cubes -- 2 pounds
Tomato sauce -- 1 cup
Water -- 1/2 cup
Cilantro, chopped -- 1/2 bunch
Oregano, dried -- 2 teaspoons
Salt and pepper -- to taste
For Assembly

Banana leaves, hard spine removed and cut into 12x6-inch rectangles -- 15 pieces
Parchment paper, cut into 12x6-inch rectangles -- 15 pieces
Kitchen string --15 (20-inch long) pieces and 30 (10-inch long) pieces
Achiote or vegetable oil -- 1/4 cup

On Aging and Relationships

Do we get mellower as we age, making our relationships easier without the need for trips to relate or more years of self-introspection or does the amount of experiences we have mellow our view towards each other?

As much as I loathe talking numbers, I am 52 next birthday.  I noticed over the years how much life has changed and grown into a really amazing place, quite naturally on some levels just because I have gotten older.

I am very happy and settled with David, my conscious partner in life. We have a beautiful home amidst a quiet Cedar forrest in Washington.  I do what I love for a living and work from home and drink Hawaiian coffee from the Big Island from my kitchen whenever I like.  I love being around my good friends and having dinners and enjoying a glass of wine locally.  I love spending quality time in silence at the lake nearby.  It’s a slower life, and far more satisfying on SO many levels.

Gone are the days of closing out the neighborhood bar after a night out; getting up at 4am to get to work by 7am, and feeling lousy when the man I was dating did something I didn’t like.

I feel so content now, to look back and reminisce with David over a pipe or two.  It’s such a rich experience to reflect fondly and crack up laughing at some of the things we have done.

I have done so much partying, traveling overseas, careering, dating, getting to know the real me and then spending years self-developing through a journey of healing modalities, martial arts and topping it off nicely with life-changing relationship AHAs!  So, perhaps in my inner contentment, I am automatically more content to be with David and just be.

I have a heap more things I want to do in life, so I am not doing a rocking chair reflection just yet.  But I want to say one or two things from experience about age and relationships:

Aging, as many people have said to me over the years, really lies in the body not in the mind so I rather think that relationships, in the main, are better as we get older for these reasons:

1)      We have “been there, seen it, done it, and now can’t be fooled” about those things that used to bother us. We can’t be bothered to get upset about things and be picky about stuff as we realize it just doesn’t matter really!

2)      Aging bodies are at play and the thoughts that life is too short pull us into a reality check so we don’t find the passion to sweat the small stuff anymore.

3)      We become easier in our own skin because life has taught us a lot and the many layers of experience bring wisdom and the natural ability to become choosey about what not to get involved in because in the past we know where those choices lead us.

4)      Our many relationship experiences have healed past “wounds” and so things just don’t fire the negative reactions like they used to (that’s me!).

When I spectate people, as I love to do whenever I'm out and about, many older people in relationships just seem happier. Now that could be for a plethora of reasons, like one is just putting up with the other and has sunk into the potting shed mentality for the sake of compromise. But maybe we feel more companionable towards each other because our reasons for couple hood change into a cruise rather than a high speed chase.

Whatever the reason, I have to say I love this time of my life and echo the following words with relish:

“Growing old is a mandatory process. For women, for a period of time, we might even resist aging as we try our hardest to fight off wrinkles and hang on to the physical beauty of our faces. Yet, getting old is a natural process where things are slowing down, and you’ll begin to see that the sparkle in your heart and the twinkle in your eyes make you beautiful in a way that’s not achievable in youth.”
