#24       Fu   Returning

Above   K'un     Earth
Below   Chen    Thunder

The Wisdom:
Cycles and seasons
Are not under your control;
They have their own timing
And cannot be rushed;
Neither can they be stopped.

In the beginner’s mind, there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s, there are few.
The winds of change are here and there is nothing you can do to stop, alter, enhance or influence the course of this new season that is on presentation.

Thinking and analyzing will not bring about a change in the seasons. Just as we trust that summer will follow spring, now we must either trust the energy of returning or get embroiled in an unpopular and unsolvable puzzle of obstacles on a road leading nowhere. So it is with your situation now. Don’t think it through; this is not the time to analyze your situation, you have done that and you are exhausted from it. Give yourself, and those around you, a break.

Your benefit now is to return to where in your body and soul this recent and exhausting cycle began, back to the roots, back to the roots when innocence and hope were magically fueling your every move.

Surrender… and let this cycle of gradual progress toward love and success happen with no thinking. Know that the coming tide moving you inevitably forward is unstoppable. Let it happen. Allow yourself to ride a wave to the shore, arriving refreshed and rested, not tired and weak from effort. It is your choice.

The necessary re-birth will be realized not by pushing forward through the jungle of old patterns and promises. The energy will be found by returning, by following the breadcrumbs left on the path so you could find your way back, from whence you came. In you was a knowing that was seated somewhere in the recesses of your monkey mind, the primitive sense of wisdom, where you knew this time would come. Go back and recover the treasures of life that you left behind to gain and get where you were going.  Return to the dignity of the human being, return and be.

It is not human doing that is meant for us, it is human being.

Just be fully present as you let melt away the patterns that no longer serve you and have kept you from loving and living in harmony with Gaia.

Nature waits to guide you back to where success and abundance is waiting for you. When you get there, it will be somehow familiar like remembering some line from a book you read or that was read to you as a child. It is in that light of innocence where you will find the power of the creative and the strength to bring to completion that which you most desire, that which you had in mind when this cycle…this very long cycle began.

Remove all obstacles
By achieving
An empty mind,
A beginner’s mind.

This hexagram, Fu, indicates that this cycle of renewal and returning will bring a longed-for, deserved relief. And it is in this aura of relief that what you need will come to you.

Don’t be surprised when you find members of your tribe coming your way to fill the gap of aloneness that you have been feeling. They could not find you before; you were behind a wall of self-involvement and judgment that obscured who your authentic self truly is. Let your fellow pilgrims into your heart; talk story with them; let yourself be loved. You have been so damn good at giving and fixing; now is the time to shut the f up and receive.

Be still now and quiet your mind. Be quiet, so you can hear the words that are spoken by the rustling of leaves in the wind, that the birds sing and that your inner wisdom has wanted you to hear. Find your practice and just do it. Hike, meditate, visit sacred places and the people who are sacred to you. This is a magical time; you are required to do nothing but be clear, patient, compassionate, and kind. This mixture, which is contained in the sage message of Fu, is true alchemy, leading to an abundant life lived well with compassion, kindness and dignity.

This is a time you will long remember. Be grateful—and take notes.

I Ching For The Week of February 10, 2014

#47 -- Kun:   Confinement

Above --  Dui -- Open, responsive; free movement with no blame or judgement

Below --  Kan -- Gorge, precipice, water; moving without hindrance; radiant clarity

The Wisdom:

Bring old relationships to a close
Dismiss sadness
Gather energy for a bold move
You are in a state of confinement.
Words will not set you free.

Trust no one who is attempting to sway you with words of praise or offers of precisely what it is you have wanted and have dreamed of. There has been a breakdown in the code, the code within language. You have made great efforts to communicate clearly and to purify your intentions and intuition. The work has been good, but now you are at your limit and you must lay back. If you were to proceed in this condition—that of intellectual and emotional exhaustion—you would be not only confined as you are now, you would be caught in a trap that even time itself would not release you from for a very long time.

In the preceding lessons of the I Ching, great credence has been placed on being in your truth in your communications with your tribe, associates, and in your relationships. This was good, even sage, advice for the time. But times have changed, as they will. A cycle that has been difficult, which has contained many benefits, has come to an end. That cycle called on you to be honest, forthright, and to communicate with clarity so that you could move toward, and achieve, your goals for yourself and for the greater good.

Now, while in this current period of confinement and faced with adversity, you feel you should have the ability, because of your attention to the process, to speak all the right words that would embody your ideas, and this should, in a perfect world, carry you to the next stage of development and set you free. But as a cycle ends, your words are either literally not heard or ignored. If they are heard, they are misconstrued and to others take on the opposite meaning to what you intend. This is what the code is breaking down means. If you were to proceed now, using your words to pave the way, you would surely hit obstacle after obstacle, and the state of intellectual and emotional exhaustion you are in could manifest as a physical breakdown.

It is not an illusion that aspects of your life force are bottled up; the feeling that they must somehow be released is very real. At this time you must look in a different direction, beginning by looking inward for the sustenance needed to continue. It will not come from outside advice.

In dealing with this turning point, in so many aspects of your life, there is much to consider. There are places that appear to be doing well, yet other areas seem dry, confined, and hopeless. Kun has appeared now because of difficulties that have in the past caused you to despair and become sad or depressed. This is where the message of this hexagram is of great assistance. Know that this situation, which is omnipresent, is temporary, and that the assistance needed to regain the proper life flow that will replenish you emotionally, spiritually, and physically is within reach; it is, in fact, within. The only way that relief will find you is for you to take the time to rest, re-create, breathe, and remain positive, knowing that this is the end of an exhausting cycle and the beginning of a new, enlivened, and exciting one; in fact, it is a renewal of life and of the life force.

Your truth now will be made evident not by your words but by your actions. You must exert your will in all situations that are confronting you, for it is your willpower that is your greatest ally as you begin to break through what has been binding you and suppressing you. It is a great frustration when your words are not heard and the words you hear from others cannot be trusted at face value. These are challenging times, as you are regaining your strength and are remembering your sense of purpose.

Stillness is most powerful now. In stillness make your plan—you must have a plan—and look inward for the strength to continue. This is where your greatness will be found.

The way to gain the strength that will release your chi, your life force, is to undertake a plan of rest and recuperation. Plan this time of recouping your energy and strength as you would plan a battle—well thought out, and organized. Leave no place open where you could be caught unaware. Once this commitment is made, all will begin to fall into place, and recovery, creativity, and success will follow.

Rest in this situation might mean a literal resting time, or it could be simply a retreat from trying to fix what is seemingly going wrong, change people’s minds, or make an old way of thinking work for you. The current cycle is swiftly changing; be assured the light needed to remove oppression and to recuperate from exhaustion is coming your way.

You will reap positive results from being in confinement and experiencing oppression. When dealt with properly, you will breed great and useful creativity in honing your craft and in your plans for your success. You will, and must, change your way of handling obstacles and old and tired ways of thinking.  Above all, do not let this confinement piss you off and cause you to become cynical or strike out in anger or maliciousness. If you take that road, all will be lost, and you will not be able to benefit from the teaching given to you by Spirit in your situation.

In your rest and retreat you will begin to hear, understand, and learn to speak the code of the new language that will emerge in this coming cycle. This will put you at the forefront, at the head of the class, while others remain in their struggle, conflict, and drama.

In this cycle, your wordless actions will be of great benefit. You will learn when not to speak and when to hear beyond words to the underlying truth held in the unspoken code. This is a lesson in understanding that unlocks the mysteries of the universe that have been held as secrets by priests, shamans, and sages for eons. As we are moving into this new age of enlightenment, it is lessons like these that we will integrate as we change our way of thinking, speaking, and listening. In these times you will have the opportunity to access help from unexpected places. You will leave old, stale relationships behind as you move forward in your understanding of your sense of purpose and in forming new, positive associations. Look deep into yourself. You will find the strength needed to continue as you reflect in stillness.

If you feel, in these days ahead, a broken or troubled heart, embrace it and stay steady; suffering will give way to greatness and joy. It is the Way.

Much love . . . In lak’ech

BE THE CHANGE

Who will tell whether one happy moment of love or the joy of breathing or walking on a bright morning and smelling the fresh air, is not worth all the suffering and effort which life implies?

The awareness that stirs within each of us is continuous with the wider awareness that moves all around us, bending the grasses and lofting the clouds. Every organism partakes of this awareness from its own angle and place within it, each of us imbibing it through our nostrils or through the stomata in our leaves, altering its chemistry and quality within us before we breathe it back into the surrounding world. Awareness, in this biospheric sense, is a quality in which we participate with the whole of our breathing bodies; as your body is different from mine in many ways, so your sensations and insights are richly different from mine.

As you breathe in whatever air surrounds you, become aware. As you breathe out, offer a generous thought to the world around you.

GUYABANO OR SOURSOP OR GRAVIOLA ~ THE CANCER KILLER FRUIT

Share this information first and read afterwards....
Share it as much as you can!
...
The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree is a miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo.

Why are we not aware of this? Its because some big corporation want to make back their money spent on years of research by trying to make a synthetic version of it for sale.

So, since you know it now you can help a friend in need by letting him know or just drink some sour sop juice yourself as prevention from time to time. The taste is not bad after all. It’s completely natural and definitely has no side effects. If you have the space, plant one in your garden.

The other parts of the tree are also useful.

The next time you have a fruit juice, ask for a sour sop.

How many people died in vain while this billion-dollar drug maker concealed the secret of the miraculous Graviola tree?

This tree is low and is called graviola ! in Brazi l, guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name “soursop” in English. The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or, more commonly, used to make fruit drinks, sherbets and such.

The principal interest in this plant is because of its strong anti-cancer effects. Although it is effective for a number of medical conditions, it is its anti tumor effect that is of most interest. This plant is a proven cancer remedy for cancers of all types.

Besides being a cancer remedy, graviola is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent for both bacterial and fungal infections, is effective against internal parasites and worms, lowers high blood pressure and is used for depression, stress and nervous disorders.

I Ching For The Week of February 3, 2014

#38 : Kui -- Diverging, Entering the Shadow Self

Above: Li -- Radiance, brightness, fire
Below: Dui -- Open, free, unhindered

The Wisdom:

Take a deep breath
It is not your imagination
Normality has vanished
Leaving you in unfamiliar territory

Some very strange and conflicting energies have come your way, and the harbingers of this force in your field are front and center, singing strange beautiful songs, speaking in an unknown language you are not meant to understand, just feel. This can be seductive, thinking it is telling you to continue in the old patterns. So, you ask, why have you been presented with confusion, when you thought you had the path sorted out and in perspective, and you were sure your call was for clarity?

The answer is that now the way is to turn your back on the comfort you have wrought, and enter into the vast cave of self-knowledge where you will benefit from a finite examination of these old and sometimes painful patterns of love, association and interaction with your tribe. You have learned well how to numb the pain and give it another name. But that is not the way it will work now. The discomfort will no longer be numbed, it will be a biting truth that wakes you in the night and distracts you from your norm.

These are not, as is now clear to you, normal times. If you avoid these shifting sands, no other ways will open to you and you will be stuck in the old patterns that once felt passionate and comfortable, but are now laced with self-judgment and flagellation; what will be revealed will be done with the vengeance that only truth can bring until this cycle ends, and that can be a very long time in which you are likely to lose your footing and fall to an internal and spiritual dilemma that you knew was hovering just outside your carefully formed denial of the self that brought you to this dwelling place in the first place. The place where there was comfort that kept you safe from revealing your true self and where there was only a slight chance of rejection.

Now, as you are given the view from higher ground, you are finding that the old paradigm was not enough, not nearly enough. You find that your capacities are so much more than you gave yourself credit for or thought you needed.

These are times when decisions must be made. Do you stay, do you go, do you sign the contract, renegotiate it, or let it go completely? These seem to be the choices. The only way to finding the correct path is to ascertain whether it is your passion, your bliss. Do you feel the passion of freedom being offered, or do you feel the passion for a new project, person, or ideal? Look carefully at your options, so that your decision does not put you in bondage to old, unfulfilling ways of being that are all too familiar.

A remedy will be to fully examine your situation from all angles and move outside the norm and the traditional, established ways and old patterns of thinking and behaving. It is in this place, outside the normal, that passion lies. And passion will be the element needed to assist you in creating an alchemical blend.

Heart versus mind.
Tension stretches reason to its limits.
Fate is questioned.
Trust passion.

The ego would tell you that it must be a certain way. It says, Conform to the established order, don't stand out, don’t be eccentric, and damn you, don’t be different! Within the message of Kui is the teaching that now is the time to not adhere to the old rules. Be outrageous and eccentric, whether in art, commerce, love or social intercourse, whether in intimate, family, or tribal relationships. The fire of passion is yours for the taking. With it you can cut through the old ways to achieve clarity and a radiance of spirit that will lead you, step by step, to a crystal-clear view of your situation. Let in this new way of being, be it an idea, a person, or a project that you have avoided or have pushed away because it didn’t seem proper and didn’t fit into the old paradigm. It is still actively available to you, but as we well know, windows of opportunity such as this one don’t stay open forever.

Situations such as what appears before you now do not happen often in life, so open to it. Drop the protection, guilt, fear, and shame and let it in. You deserve it, and you will not be eaten or embarrassed, you will be enlightened—meaning you will remember who you truly are and be filled with light! This is a grand gift, and the teaching is real; seize it before it changes form and you are left grasping at air with tears in your eyes. Realizing this gift, this opportunity, will gladden your heart and bring clarity and peace to your mind, body, and spirit.

You may find that recently you rejected an opportunity for change or rejected a “crazy” idea or a person who invited you in. It is not too late—in fact, the consideration you gave the situation will serve you now.

This is a time of progress, yet it seems that the things most vital for progress have been feeling unclear, and you have had trepidations about making the commitment to move forward with the coming tide. This is because you have either denied the truth in recent teachings and life lessons, or it may be that you have not comprehended or allowed another’s point of view to be received. Recall the opportunity that was offered and try it on for size. It may fit or it may not—that is not the point; the point here is that you are taking divergent feelings, points of view, the dark and the light, and combining them in such a way that it makes a mix of emotions and intellectual truths that once combined, in the proper amounts, are an unstoppable force. And what you need now is just that: an unstoppable force.

Consider this: The opposites you are observing before you are not truly obstacles. They have been put in your path to wake you up, to get your attention. The ego, which abhors change, would have you stay in your position without passion forever, wallow in the old, established ways and stale patterns of behavior that close your mind and heart to the possibilities of growth and renewal of your most important relationship: the one with yourself. Take the risk . . . most likely you will land on your feet.

There seems to be contradiction in almost every situation in life now—relationships, art, business, health, and even the spiritual paths. Most likely it is a combination of these things that has driven you to distraction, and being distracted at this point in your progress is the last thing you need or want.

You need not depend on anyone else to make decisions for you, no matter how close they are to you or how deep the trust is or how much power or influence they can exert. You are on your own in this one. Take advantage of that and enter the arena. You will be cheered, not jeered.

Do not let any decisions be made for you, either outright or through another’s influence. Pull your sword of passion, your reality, and strike down any movement, idea, or situation that stands between you and your happiness. It is a risk, but this coming advancement requires risk.

Dualism such as what you are experiencing in these times is part of life’s journey, and you are the central player. On the outside it may look like you are indecisive as you carefully examine your situation. It doesn’t matter how it looks to others as you consider and seek the balance between light and dark, yin and yang, life and death. It is that serious at this time. Embrace the dualistic forces that seem to be confronting you. You will gain much knowledge and infinite strength by making this commitment and embracing them.

Take these teachings to heart and make small, considered, even covert movements as you commit to the basic processes and the nature of life in these times.

Have compassion, kindness, and dignity, and make these moves and keep these considerations in mind as you remember and embrace who you truly are.

Much love ... In lak'ech
